cold idle?

At what rpm does your car idle at when you first start it cold until it warms up?

Warm, mine will idle at 850 rpm.

Cold, mine idles at like 2000 rpm and drops as it warms up.

I have an 85 gsl-se.

Just wondering if this is normal or bad or ok or what.

Mark
