Cold Air Intake for GSL SE
Is it worth it? or is the drop in just as good? If it is worth it how may it be accomplished?(by worth it I mean an actual increase over just a drop in K&N), and also is there any way to open up the air box if I was to use a drop in?yah, lots of questions, help me out if you can! Thanks!

It is definately worth it if you do it right. The intake itself won't do that much by itself, but if it's accompanied by a good exhaust the two combined makes a nice improvement.
One thing I did notice though, when I first did mine I got the AFM adapter plate you need to use a cone filter, and it came with a crappy Bomz filter on it for free. Well, I put it on (with crappy filter) and it did absolutely nothing for the car. Oh well. Later, I took out the cats and put on a RB straight pipe, I got a little boost in power, I was happy. A little more time goes by, and I finally take the Bomz filter off and put a genuine K&N in it. HOLY ****! It made a HUGE difference.
Later, I would put the cats back on for inspection, and the car was back to the way it was before any mods, so it was obvious that the intake did little by itself, but was an important part of the overall mod package.

The problem is that no one has had any dyno info for any cold air intake setup for our cars.
I'm sure their is a Hp increase but how much? Could be 2hp, could be up to 5hp depending on the type of CAI you do. Can you feel it like other kits, probably not but it is there and it does contribute to the overall performance of the vehicle. I recommend when you do a CAI that you relocate the Air temp sensor to the adapter or inline in the piping.

Where could i buy one of these kits doc?or is there a write up on this because I am unsure of how to do this/what list of parts would I need? Oh BTW Doc I almost have my fuel problem figured out, it seems to be a combination of the O2 sensor and that CTS, which is getting replaced.
