heres one

start the car and have your sister take the coil wire off the distributor. If she yells and calls ya a *******.. than its good.. lol

you can take the wire off the distributor and put near something metal (ie strutt bolts) and you should see it throw a pretty good spark!

if its week.. replace it!

In 2nd gen stickies is a list of the most common abbreviations. The FSM has one too, but that list may not be in the 1st gen FSMs, I know it's in the 2nd gen ones.

1.35 ohm +/- 10 %

You take a reading across the two nuts.

So do you have a meter and do you know how to use it?

Most often though, it's the ignitor.

I can read a meter if I had one but is been a long time already. hehe I just want to make sure I don't need to replace this. I already upgraded my Alternator to 2nd gen one but I having a weir bounce on the RMP niddle when ever is taking to much power drain. I hold the brake in place with the headlights up and it still makes the niddle go wacko on me. I even clean most connection including the starter connections but I see no results from this.

Next I am planing of replacing the headlights harness and headlamps with good onces. I am not sure if that will fix my problem.

Check your main ground wires from the battery. You may have some cables that have gone bad, especially if they are the original cables.

Sure thing Dom, I will take a look at that. I might just end up buying a new ground cable if they are bad or old.

The oem positve battery cable is aluminum. They have a tendency to corrode internally, under the sheathing, where you can't see it.

Needle, not niddle, lol. Niddling is something entirely different.
