Who knows you might start a new style for the FB now. I think it looks kinda neat and it's different.

I love that Mustang behind you! Sorry guys, I'm out of the closet. I like imports AND domestics!

As for your exhaust. It looks cool, but not my cup of tea. I don't like it much on Supras, either. But that is just me!

do you mean angling the back part down and the tip pointing towards the air?

run your exhaust under your axle, then have the muffler angled upwards from the tip end, with just a little less (cockedness) haha. so angle it up and a little to the right...

thats the plan with my car

Dunno, mine sits slightly angled to the side, and points slightly down.

As for duals, won't the fuel tank interfere??????

Loud is a question of throttle pressure. The higher the pressure, the louder it is, up to a point. Once the secondaries are open, it gets kinda quiet
Yeah, the muffler is kinda big. 19" long, and 5" diameter. It's missing the "tunable tip", requiring me to tune it with the throttle
Thats an old pic, just days after I bought the car. If ya look close, ya can see the oil standing in the end. Not sure how it got there, but it helped me buy the car for $500

how well does it clear the fuel tank? That is the biggest concern I would have with doing that, in your first picture it looks like it comes quite close.

clears it very well, the stock muffler was probally 2 foot around and 1 foot tall. big *** thing, so there is alot of space to work in there..

Yeah, I have no issues either. I bet there is still a couple inches or more between the factory heat sheild for the tank, and the muffler.
Ya gotta remember, most of these type mufflers are only 5-6 inch diameter, while the stock and RB are closer to 8 inch. Might have some issues with the oval body style, though. Those could not angled quite as much.
It actually looks mine was placed at an angle, to keep the pipe over the axle from needing more/ tighter bends. As I have stated before, both the muffler and 2.25 stainless pipe were on the car when I bought it.
rxseven07: your system may be louder than mine, due to the header. I do not have one, just the stock manifold, pipe and muffler. No presilencer of any type.
I can get a couple pics of the under car view, if wanted.
