Pic as requested....the top green arrow is pointing at the main fuel feed line coming from the electric fuel pump, preferably a Mallory unit if the car has any performance aspirations........the bottom green arrow is pointing to the silver barrel which is a check valve placed inline with the return fuel line...

ok so there are setup like its supposted to be, but when i blow in the return line, towards the tank, it will build up pressure and shoot gas back at me, is it clogged?.
i did the same with the main line on the other side of the pump and it cleared out and the gas take bubbled so its ok, i keep killing fuel pumps over this :\

The silver barrel is a check valve....it should have an arrow stamped on it indicating fuel flow direction....you want that arrow pointed TO the car's fuel return hard line from the firewall....if you don't have the stock check valve, then you have an obstruction or kinked hard line somewhere going back to the gas tank........good luck....
