Unhappy clutch pilot bearing seal

Hi all

I just got done installing a exedy clutch kit that I purchased off of ebay. It took me a few late nights to get it done but I thought it went well and the clutch works great.
Now here is the not good part of this whole deal. I was under the impression that the clutch kit was complete and I installed every part that was included in the kit. I just happened to be on Atkins website today and noticed they sold a pilot bearing seal that is to be installed after the pilot bearing is installed. If the measely $6:00 part had been supplied in my kit I would have for sure installed it or if I had known there was another part needed I would have bought one.
My question is how serious is it to not have a pilot bearing seal.
If I have to remove the tranny again I will not be a happy camper.
thanks for your comments

Yeah it just helps hold some grease in there for the pilot bearing. Probably won't be an issue.
