You can try bleeding the cluch hydraulics first, but if it's leaking enough air in that you can floor the pedal & not release the clutch, then at least one of the cylinders is probably shot, yeah.
Unless someone just let it run out of fluid?
First week I had my RX, 50 miles from home, slave cylinder seal went west. Learned to speed-shift on the way home - - I'd never owned a manual trans before. 50 miles across L.A. traffic without a clutch = a singular experience.

Ok Trochoid, here is some history, I did a swap from automatic to manual succesfully. Two weeks ago and a few days ago the problem happened you know the clutch being fully depresed and the car takes off on it's own.
It does have a new slave cylinder, clutch hose, here's the catch mu friend provided a used clutch cylinder. As soon as I noticed the problem I bled the crpa out of the system and inspacted for leaks. No Leaks were found, however I did hear some air come out. And yes when we did the swap we also bleed the system. Are you thinking what I'm thinking can it be a bad clutch cylinder. Any help would be greatly apreciated gents.

Divin,
I have a similar story dude the same thing happened to me on a Friday night I went off to downtown to chill and hang out. So all sudden here I am at the light and there are hot girls all over the place crossing in front of me behind me I mean all over. So I take of when I tried to shift into second there was no pedal pressure what so ever. I was embarrassed LOL. But I made it home the same way you did I just listed to the rotary symphony and shifted at the correct rpm and made it home. HOOORAH.

Switch it out dor a new clutch master ASAP. They are only about $50 so it should be fairly cheap to fix your problem. Just be aware, the top nut on the firewalls is a bitch to get off and on. Good luck.

Actually the local auto parts store will probably be the cheapest. Alot of people will say www.rockauto.com, but most people don't factor in shipping cost. Check it out, but otherwise just call all the local stores and get the prices from all of them, then buy the cheapest one.

Oh I forgot to mention you can also buy a rebuild kit, if your really short on cash. I think they are closer to $20-$25. Save a few bucks and see how the inside of the master cylinder looks.
Mixing new and used parts in the clutch hydraulics almost always leads to a failure. The new parts will cause any weaknesses in the used ones to show up and the old parts will introduce contaminents into the new ones. This includes the flex hose. Since many of these setups have performed well, as a unit, for over 20 years, it makes simple sense to replace all 3 main components as a unit. All of which can be done for around $100 worth of parts that should be good for another 15-20 years.
Tro, I agree since I have already replaced the all the clutch components except the clutch master. So I'll give you guys an update once I replace it. Again thanks for all the advice fellas. Happy 4th of July don't blow your hands off.
