clutch pedal adjustment

I replaced the clutch m/c and slave and added a stainless steel line - and therefore took the clutch pedal rod apart...(84 gs)

now i have more pedal than i have ever had in any 7 - is is bad to have too much clutch at the pedal knowing what changes i made above.

Thanks

If the can fully engage and disengage and you are happy with the position of both, no adjustment is necessary. If any one of those critera are not met, adjust the pedal.

It really comes down to personal preference. I like mine to engage quite low to the floor.

Julain..you said that it was the first of 4..reading I see that you have a Stainless Steel line on this car..Maybe this is the reason why..people say that there is a difference between the regular line and the aftermarket stainless or braided..the OEM lines apparently expand under pressure and the Stainless..no expansion)..so you would now have found that there IS a difference!..(of course if the 3 other cars you had did not have the stainless line on..)..and have the proof..(I was wondering about the comparison..going to be changing my set-up soon..weighing my options)

The lines were the braided lines from mazdatrix

I never had them on the previous 7's - and heard the same things you did.

I also did the brake lines and they now have tons of grab too.
