clutch

my clutch is slippin on my 85 7 can someone tell me what stuff i should get off here.. i want a race clutch but i dont know what pressure plate to get.. helpp

Get the street strip pressure plate. Anything stronger will go through masters and slaves at an alarming rate. That's what I heard anyway. I went with a street strip pressure plate and had to rebuild the master and slave. Once so far.

The pedal effort is also something to consider. I don't want it to be any stiffer than street strip. That's my personal preference.

so i can get the race clutch just i need to get the street strip pressure plate...

Unless you're drag racing, the street/strip disc works well. If you're doing frequent drag launches and daily driving, try the 6 puck disc with springs. If you don't mind the extra pedal effort, race pressure plate and new, not rebuilt, clutch master, slave and hose.

ok cool... how about the first clutch at the top of this page... does this look like it would be ok..
