Cluster Gauge question?

Does it matter if this is broken?
I am talking about the little white plastic piece.

Thank you,
Chris

Looks like the plastic part of the clip. The cluster plug seats over the pins fairly tight so the plug may stay in place. If not you will have to take out the cluster and plug it in again. If it keep coming loose you will need a new core.

probably doesn't matter. It's mainly there to make it easier to mount the plug. Without it, you'll need to fiddle around a bit to find the right position, esp. under the dash where you hardly see anything. But the same piece broke in my car aswell (yeah, I know, I should have been more carefull...), no real problem though.
