........and the Nobel Prize for creative taillight making, goes to Iotus!

Ever think of trying a set of those on Ebay? Could be a decent money maker.

Someone beat him to it... Kinda. Theyre just instructions, kinda odd. I think if he sold the actual lights hed be doing good.

That guy's tutorial:

Step 1: disassemble taillights.
Step 2: Remove inner lenses.
Step 3: Reassemble Taillights.

I agree, Geoff's are much better.

Looks very good. You must have alot of free time on your hands. Now design a front fixed headlight design.

Hey guys, how much would you all be willing to pay for these tail lights?

It will take me about a week to make a set, i will gurantee to cracks or scratches, they will be fully assembled, sealed, and ready to go. I was thinking of offering a core refund, too, for good condition assemblies.

yea the lights look realy good. not my fancy but they look good. you can prolly sell them on ebay for around 50-75 im guessing depends on how many people realy want them.

not to bad if you can get the tails from a junk yard for $30-40 + the other parts cost. you can make maybe $10-20 per set.

eh thats gas money!

Those look absolutely beautiful Geoff.

I have a spare set of lights, I don't think I have your patience to make them though.

Let us know when you're gonna start making them, and you price.

I am in.

you guys are pretty cheap! hahaha

I'd be willing to bet that if you did a GOOD JOB (or even if not, but it looks like you will!) then $150-$200 a pair is reasonable.

If people will pay $500 for a chunk of urethane to stick on the front of their car, they'll pay $150 for some NICE taillights.

Who really likes these lights? I have an idea. To outside and take a picture of your tail lights on in the dark. Then do the mod and take the picture in the dark again. View the difference. In my opinion, the stock ones look MUCH BETTER. The one thing you may want to try, which would look pretty bad *** in my opinion, is to make the tail lights round. You could easly spray paint the inside of the tail light cover black other then where you have two cyllinders (ie. cans). This could even add a supra kind of styling to the lights. Again, just some food for thought.

I dont much care for clear taillights in general, but you have done a fabulously clever job on those. using fluerescent light covers=genius.

I don't really see anyone asking questions in here, did I miss something? All this post is is a tutorial on how to make clear tail lights. Everyone else is saying how sweet they are, are you really that closed minded to think that no one has a different oppinion? The ebay tutorial is trash. The ones ioTus make are very good quality, but I still don't like the look at all. I agree with nlc1179 that they look like ***. I see everyone on this forum making fun of honda's and all other ricers with clear tail lights and body kits, but when a good, cheap way to do it for an RX-7 comes up, you jump all over it and say how sweet it looks? It seems a lot of people are closet ricers, just won't admit they actually like how the ricers look.

Clayton, do you ever make intelligent posts? Also, do you EVER write a sentence that doesn't end in an exclamation point?

LOL, that's the first sentence you've written that didn't end in an exclamation point, but it also didn't have a period or a question mark, so I don't think I can really call it a sentence.

Here's the correct way to write that sentence, it looks like you need some help. I even highlited the errors you made in red so you wont have to hurt you little mind trying to find them.

Hey coldy, why don't I get you a spoon so you can eat my *******, ***.

See, if you could actually write a real sentence then I might be able to take you seriously. But until then, I can't stop picturing you as a 6 year old, since I've seen first graders who can write better than you.

I'd need at least an ice cream scoop to eat an ******* as loose as yours, maybe you should stop letting your daddy rape it every night so it will at least only fit one fist instead of two.
