Choke stuck OUT, cant push back in

Exclamation Choke stuck OUT, cant push back in

just happened, choke wont go back in, idling at above 2k.....please help God bless

Shut off the car. The magnet should then release.

Check the linkage at the carb. Something might be stuck there. Careful not to damage linkage.

I'm with cdrad51 --- When I've had that problem in the past it was a problem with the linkage at the carb... usually I just had to reseat the cable in the linkage.

If you can't find any problem withthe linkage, check the choke butterfly in the carb. I've had them stick when they get really gummed up, check the shaft also.

I found the prob., i just kinda wiggled around the linkage to the choke next to the brake resevior and it went back in. Must have just got stuck, maybe ill spray wd-40 on it. Thanks guys
