Choke cable broke

Ok... so I went and started my car... and relized that the choke cable is broken. It broke just before it gets to the carb. where do I go and get another cable, could i just get an universal one from caandain tire.. or not. is is also hard to replace? where could i find instruction to do it?

Also when my choke was working.. if pulled it out more then half way.. it would or almost stall my car.. is this normal or what would be wrong with that?

thaxs

hey installing the cable should be no problem you can get a regular cable from anywhere provided its the same lenght, and then you will have to take out the choke assembly and take it apart ... you will notice that the cable is crimped in there ... all you have to do then, it first try uncrimpling the old one out, Is that doesn't work what you could go is get a metal tubing and you can solder that in place.
