Check out these tailights!
I've done my own. Here is what they look like. Sorry, but the flash from the camera lit the reflector up. It doesn't look solid in the center normally. It was just a quick pic.
That is the biggest the circles can be. Any bigger and you have to modify the housing. The edge of the circle is right at the edge of the reflector and doesn't light the reflector up. I know my garage is messy, but what do you expect. Its where I work on an almost daily basis to get my $500 GSL running.
I will try to get another pic without the flash sometime soon.

Yeah thats the flash. They look great when the reflectors aren't lit up. I will try to get a pic without the flash. Mabey tomorrow night. Kind of pissed me off after I saw the pic. I have a non heated garage and it took me 10 min to set it up. I had to hook up the battery, plug the rear lights in, and find a way to prop the brake pedal on. My turn signals even have the same size circles.
I tried to keep them equidistant from the edges of the inner housing, while still having the largest size circle as possible. It turns out that if you have a circle that just fits in, you can center them pretty well, and still keep them from being too far under the reflector. I would have liked a larger circle, but that is the biggest it can be. Roughly 3" diameter. I would prefer closer to 3.5"-4".

OK, so I got off my lazy *** and got a pic now. The picture is really nice, but for some reason, it turned out brighter than the first. I don't fully understand lighting for photography, so this could be normal, but its confusing for me.
im gonna be putting circles in my tinted tails pretty soon, i havent decided if i want to make circles in the amber blinkers of the tails yet
what do u guys think?
btw here are a few pics of my tailights lit up at dusk
i think they are gonna look 10x better with circles in them

The circles on mine are about 3" in diameter. The biggest possible size. I will eventually tint my lenses also, to really hide the circles in daylight. I think the combination will be great.
BTW, I have had mine done since November. I just never posted pics of them and never really talked about them.
