rotor vs. piston 01-26-04 04:02 PM

The placement of the reflector on the tail lights really gets in the way of making a good looking set of round tail lights, due to the gap inbetween them.

Lee Lyons 01-26-04 04:38 PM

ahh definitly wrong!!

Rotofire 01-26-04 05:03 PM

I thought they were nice looking. I bet he put alot of time into making them. Well, worth the 25 dollars.

jorx81@aol.com 01-26-04 05:29 PM

I'll bet he did too rotofire, and they look ten times better than the last ones that went for 100 bucks.
The guy is obviously a genious.

Gregs 01-26-04 06:07 PM

mine are better :D

yea tinted tail lights were very cool back in the 80's
why don't you tint your headlights too?

yeah back in the 80's hmm i wonder when my car was made, oh yeah THE 80'S

1stgen4life 01-26-04 06:37 PM

I like the ones on ebay, and gregs'. I think both of them are better than the stock ones. If I had an fb instead of an sa, I'd consider those (or tint them like gregs).

MosesX605 01-26-04 06:37 PM

How well do your brake lights shine through in the daytime Gregs? I think that the total black looks pretty good but I wouldn't want to have dim brake/running lights in the daytime as a result.

Gregs 01-26-04 06:43 PM

i dont have any pics of them in the daytime
i can get some though while it is still light out
ill post em later

I think I may have a great idea for round tail lights, which would solve the reflector issue. Hm.

jorx81@aol.com 01-26-04 08:04 PM

Why's the reflector an issue?

Steve Shulz 01-26-04 08:17 PM

I like em.

Gregs 01-26-04 08:17 PM

Joe, just to clear things up
i wasent talking shit about your tails
i love em, im gonna actually do rounds in my tinted tails

seems like shit was getting a little hostile there
jsut wanted to clarify things :)

jorx81@aol.com 01-26-04 08:47 PM

No offense taken, I was just goofing around.

What I do like about yours is they match the center panel really well, so it almost looks like one solid peice all the way across the back, Or at least the tail lights match the center panel. You know what I mean.

Gregs 01-26-04 08:57 PM

thats kinda what i was goin for on them
the solid look for the back panel
turned out pretty good :)

snake eyes<l><l> 01-26-04 09:56 PM

so it would be possible to tint those round lights right? i think that would look pretty cool

;)

<l><l>

Rotofire 01-26-04 11:14 PM

I like em both, I might try the rounds on mine....maybe.

KehoeAutomotive 01-26-04 11:19 PM

Why would I want a set of taillights that my my RX look like my crappy old 1978 Vette??

And Gregs, you are right. yours does look better!!!

BIG J MIXALOT 01-26-04 11:23 PM

Gregs are better than those

BIG J MIXALOT 01-26-04 11:24 PM

Gregs rule
