The 2nd gen 4 bolts and the GSL-SE have 4x114.3, but the non GSL-SE 1st gens are 4x110, which should be the size of the rims if they're genuine mazda...

It's center to center actually. The easier way is to go from the outside of one bolt hole to the inside of the other...

checked out the FAQ's..now check this!

couldn't find it in the manual so i went to the FAQ's and i wasn't long until I found it is 4x114.3...5x114.3..and I thought my memory had sex!!..ya.. if you feel like the lugnuts are "cross threading IMO it's probably because they are not going into the rim holes even though the rim may fit on the wheel studs.. it is not allowing the nuts to go straight on ...check it out the studs will look just slightly off center in the rim holes..it's that 4.3 mm that make the difference..it's not much but that's what it will do if you try to fit 4x100 rims on a cars 4x114.3 bolt pattern..am I premature?..who da man?!!!
