check out these rims

hey i have these on my 84 but they dont seem to fit right...could anyone give me any more info on these wheels?

Do have a 84 SE or the GS or GSL? Bolt pattern the problem or is it the center hub, what doesn't fit?

Never mind, just noticed the SE targa, you have a 114 and those are 110....I think.

Look again, the bottom pic clearly shows a brake drum.

As for not fitting, what is not fitting? The bolt pattern should be correct. Perhaps the wheels have a lot of corrosion on the backside, and do not fit over the centers of the hubs.

the rims go on and run pretty true when i drive but the seem to be cross threading and not fitting perfect...i cant figure out what the problem is...idk if the rim is the correct ones to fit..

They're ugly. The rotor is on the inside of the engine, doesn't need to be pn the wheels.

How can rims cross-thread?

They fit on your car, right?

Do you mean the lugs are cross threaded?

lots of this rotor wheels are showing up here in the States, very few rx7 came with them from factory as an option, just like targa bands, air dams ,spoilers, glass tops, an aftermarket reproduction came out and I quite remember myself seeing the rotor wheels in Puerto Rico for different bolt pattern " toyota, datsun, even the family wagon had them on it, guy's before you go and spend your $$$ make sure 4x110 is the bolt pattern.

WTF??? Why would a Rotor rim come in any other bolt patern than the 4x110 that was on a rotary...?

Why the hell would you want one on any car that isn't a rotary...???

They're not really good looking, but have a "coolnes" factor when on an RX...

Well, from what rotorhead_1 says, they might be knck-offs with the wrong bolt patern... do they say Mazda on 'em?

if you know anyone with a gsl-se or toyota corolla rear wheel drive, try them on, that should give you some answers.

i dont think they are knockoffs...they have the old school mazda M on the inside

Well, I AM certain Mazda only ever made them in 4x110mm patern (RX)

So if they are genuine, then they should fit... Are you sure it's not the lub bolts that are damaged...?

Have you tried measuring the bolt pattern on them? That would solve all the debate.

It would...
But I find it tricky to get accurate measurements on rims. Especially when you're talking a difference of a few millimetres...

is the measurement incorrect

i could of swore the 4 lug is 114.3 ..I go 4 lug on my 88..i'll glance at the haynes manual and get back to ya...that could explain why you think the lugs are "cross threading"or it feels like it back in 5...
