Ok, I know how I reacted to this. But, curious of what you other rotor heads thing of this. Whether you love it or hate it, it should absolutely be checked out.

Scrolled through several pages....

and didn't see a related post.

Excuse the redundantcy, but knew for sure this needed to be posted. What was the overall verdict?

If i wanted a camero drivetrain, i wold drive a f*cking camero. I don't get you people who take a unique car and ruin it. A rx-7 is first of all R, R as in rotary. ok maybe i have been up a little too late, but i still think putting pistons in a rx-7 is like changing one's sex, against God's Law.

Preach On Brotha! . Yeah, I think **** like that should be saved for the Z cars, pistons belong in those...Plus they're ugly and deserve new bodies .

I think these people are confused on what they really want.

1. Looks like a Dodge Viper body kit

2. Camaro drivetrain

3. Corvette rear lights

4. Miata headlights

5. and I'm sure I have missed a few

peace

Yeah if I want a POS F body car, Ill buy one!

Body kit looks real nice in a couple years when all that fiberglass/bondo starts cracking out fromt he body flex..

Big pass on that and as Felix said I think Id wipe my *** on the seats

whats the deal, if i wanted a viper/cobra paint scheme with a GM engine, I'd be buying a Viper or cobra or a Camaro instead of a rotary powered car.

Thumbs down Camaro/RX7 mated

I'll admit its a cool car and no doubt hauls ***. But why would you want to do this to an RX-7 . The beauty of the RX-7 is the efficiency and mechanical simplicity of the wankel. All this really is is a camaro with an RX-7 shell ( which isn't so bad since the camaro is so hideous ). But it is NOT an RX-7 by any stretch of the imagination. Just a waste of money if you ask me...

If someone gave me one of those, i would take out the engine, put a rotary in it, rip off all the dumb fiberglass, put all new Rx-7 body panels on it and have a licence plate that says NotAVipr.
This is something I wrote in another forum. The Canadian Forum. This car lives in Ottawa, appently theres more where that came from!

I don't think that looks like an Rx-7 at all. More like a Viper.

Looks like the old Pacifica kits. Not my favorite. They lose a little too much personality, it tries too much to look like a Porsche.
