talk about long tension bolts, and e-shaft. I wonder how they handled stationary gear set up.

Umm... How on earth could one even begin to stuff that 6 rotor beast into an FB. :p That can not be easy... If even possible. Perhaps if you really hack the body up and place the motor in the hatch area after constructing a fire wall and what not. Would be insanely fun though!

Chris,
Could only dream of puttin a 6 rotor in his '85 GS

**** stuffing it into an FB. Build a car around IT.

Grab a chassis that it'll sit on, and then start building up around the drive train.

How much is one of those gonna run me?

Hmm, looks like this one is turbo'd. Unless I'm really far off, that looks like a turbo on the rear of the CAD picture.

Also for the person who said all CAD packages are looking the same. I just finished working with the newest Microstation and AutoCAD 2000 packages and let me tell ya. There is a big difference! AutoCAD is definately much easier to work with IMHO.

It's been a while since I've used CAD packages but AutoCAD was always a pig to use IMO. But... maybe the new one's are better.

LOL, notice I said all the TOP packages are looking the same eg. CATIA, UG, Solidworks etc.

I have had the misfortune to use autocad 2000 at college and after working on UG it really sucks ,,, it may be easier to use but it lacks the functions you get on top of the line systems

Autocad is probably easier to learn but if you;ve got the cash and use CAD 24/7 like i do UG or CATIA is you best choice in My opinion

I'd like t see the other side of the 4 rotor CAd model ... the exhaust sytem and intake must be interesting with that turbo sat on the end like that !

It still is, we have 2002 here at school and it still has a ton of little "autocadisms" (as my teahcer puts it) it still crashes all the time and runs real slow.

I use CAD everyday at work and school AutoCAD 2000 , DataCAD , ArchiCAD , and have used Microstation in the past . They all serve their purpose (except Microstation bass ackwords s*it) and AutoCAD 2000 is the most out of date difficult to set properly pos that I run , But of course I work in an Archictectural firm

I would love to put that 4 rotor in my 84 GS ,and I figured thet you would all get a kick out of it to (if only it wasnt a dream)

peace

Anyone remember "Generic CAD"? That could run circles around AutoCAD all_day_long for a fraction of the cost. AutoCAD was feeling the pain so they bought 'em out and killed the product. Jerks!

They made us use microstation at school. It was one of the older versions 'cause my school sucks, but jesus... That thing was the most complicated, unorganized, and crappy piece of crap ever.

I really hate the renderer on that thing. But it was Microstation J, hella old. They modelled our WHOLE school with it. But I was too busy messing around with photoshop to figure out how to work it.

Anyone ever heard of SolidEdge? It was a modelling program where you built models of all the parts first, and then later you could set them all up and put them together into one big model. It was kinda hard to use, and had some bugs... But it at least rendered nicely.
