Wow, 200$ for a bridge port? Where the hell are you going? I've seen just street ports for 300$ and above. Just order the templates that rx7.com sells and cut from there. Don't "eyeball" it, you're going to ruin your engine that way. A bridgeport is a very delicate thing, good luck if you do it yourself.

AH.. if i remember that is what Mariah quoted me.. But i was just asking for a large street port but I think any kind of porting would be about the same amount of work. They also quoted me that in the context of we will rebuild your engine for XXXX and i just remember that they would rebuild it with porting for $200 more than XXXX which i forgot it was like 1800 or something.. I've also seen a few other places for about the same.. hell you could probably get the templates yourself take them down to a machine shop and they would probably cut it for like 50 bux!

A typical cost of cutting the ports is

streetport $280-320
bridgeport $375-450
J-port $450-500
Monster port $550
PP $!250 specialist housings $3000 a pair

Prices will vary between builders but the above info indicates the relative cost fot typical ports

Me too. $200 in a gasket set and a few springs and seals. I would have started on it today if it weren't so cold outside. Heh, January.
