Looks like that "6-cylinder rotary" that I was talking about - POS.

Hmm, the Limited Edition was based on the GS model with chateau silver paint. The paint code: S3 (only available in '83 on the LE). It had red pin-stripes, 14 inch mesh wheels, red interior, unique 'Limited Edition' emblems, and sunroof among other things. Only 5,000 were made by Mazda. All in all, a souped-up GS model with nice wheels. Oh, but I don't know anything about the LE, now do I?

The problem is finding an LE that's not rusting-out, like this one appears to be. IMHO, the only attractions to the LE are the wheels and paint color. Otherwise, it's just a GS.

Its hard to say from those pics on the auction, but it is in CA after all, it might be pretty solid in the wheel wells etc. If It were closer I'd pick it up thats for sure. Oh well, I guess 3 fb's is enough, oh wait no it isn't. Anyway, everything 85rx7gs said about 83 LE's is correct, its a GS with cool wheels and a sweet color.
