Center Console Laser cut SS piece for headunit, push start button, and kill switch
Orion84gsl from the forum was at my house once again getting some work done on his car. This time it was stainless steel center console part. He had the piece laser cut and welded at a local shop (don't ask about the price because it was pretty high). After all that only to find out that it wasn't an exact fit. So a trip to my house it was. He's like a brother I never had now, just admit it chris
.
Anyway its a basic, and clean design to hold all his stuff. It was better than the hole he had starring at him for a while there. So as mentioned it harness the push start button and kill switch for the battery. (Personally I don't agree with a kill switch stuck right in plain view but each to his own.)
To the pictures now ...

If Chris drops by on monday to get more stuff done, I will take some pictures of the back storage bin deletes.

crutchfield used to sale stereo surround that looked just like that but with no holes. i got one off of the forum free for my GSL. its great quality and would be very easy to modify for anything you wanted to add.

The last one I had was a plastic POS. The top two brackets would not fit and it wasnt strong enough to support the weight of a cd receiver. 16 gauge stainless should do the trick. The kill switch is for showiness, however you have to know its there in the first place to be prepared with a duplicate. The key will only be in the car when I'm driving it, and with my tinted windows and dark red interior, it's very difficult to see anything inside, let alone the small black round thing protruding slightly from under the cd player. Also I plan to add a breaker to the ground wire that will sit behind the passenger seat that I can just flick off when I leave the car. So after fiddiling with the kill switch, the would-be theives will realize it still won't start. I just have to get around to the battery relocation. The starter button... well yeah, I love the race car look and the S2000 button looks more show than purpose. Not that this one really needs to be there, but come on, who doesn't like a start button. The price, I'm not happy about that. I was told by one person that it would be something, and then someone else did the work, and they did not communicate between the two of them. Same thing happened with my audio install, and I wound up paying more because of it. I'm slowly losing trust in all forms of service providers.
