raced a guy last night with a newer, I am guessing around 93-96???, but not the latest style of celica. We went about 3 times... my car is basically stock... we were pretty much dead even. I had a passenger, which I told to get out at one of the lights, as a joke.... I have just put a lsd rearend in, so I am still learning how to launch it... have to rev it higher now... but I never really launched hard against him all three times... I just like the fact that my car is that much older than his, and I can keep up, and one day, beat him.

Also ran into 2 civics at one light, that time I launched at around 4000-4500 rpm, they got beaten like a rented mule. Musta been autos or something... fun times....

 

what all do you have? with a few bolt-ons, you could probably smoke him
