cd player wiring

ive searched and still cant figure it out.....i bought the wiring harness from sounddomain.com.....i know where to plug everything into besides the yellow power wire. where does the yellow wire plug into...also i found on the forum that the red wire is in the wrong spot....where do you have to connect the red wire to.....

you need a test lamp to find where power is.
find a constant power source and one that works only on acc on the ignition.
hook up the red and yellow accordingly.
yellow should be constant and red should be acc.

or you can backyard it and run a power wire and hit the body of the car untill it sparks in the correct position while the key is on HAHAHA

this way means you need to have lots of fuses on hand

haha **** happends sometimes when your out in the bush and you need to install a stereo in a piece of **** truck for a party so we have music, we just happened to have **** loads of fuses and no test light.

IF it was crunch time and you needed to do so you would, but if you had a little bit of extra time im sure you could even use a christmas tree light bulb.

Lol, thats nice for at home, but if I used that at my shop I would get sent packing. Buy a good test light and it will last a lifetime, especially with the lifetime warrenty.

Haha ya, you probally don't need one thats so fancy, it's just nice to have a really good one. (plus im a service tech I use mine just about daily)
