Get a new one, they're better. I've used Bonerz, $250, and generic, $200, and both seem OK.

I just took a hacksaw to mine today. Removed the cat, and the little one in front of it. Felt like it weighed about thiry pounds! I spent ten bucks on a five foot length of flex pipe (1 7/8 I.D.) from Meijer and wired it all up with Michigan exhaust mounting supplies (coat hanger)!

The car is still surprisingly quiet and the change in power ranks very high on the "holy ****" scale. Without a doubt it was the best ten bucks I have spent on the car!

I would highly recommend this approach as a temporary measure until you can get together the six hundred bucks for a full Racing Beat exhaust system. Good luck!

I wondered about that, but figured it was worth a shot. I should only need a couple more weeks until I can get the RB exhaust, so I'm just trying to get by. I had to do something because my cat also split on me, and was probably clogged.

I will let you know when it falls apart on me and I have to spend another ten bucks to put it back together. lol.

I wasn't going to try it, but I saw a post by Perfect Circle saying that he was using flex pipe from Autozone, so I got the same brand that they sell. I'll keep my fingers crossed.....
