Hey just wanted to say hi to everyone. i just bought my first 7. been doing some research on here for a while now and found alot of usefull information. the problem i am having right now is finding someone who carrys a rebuild kit for the carb. this car runs great but the dude that sold it to me decided to adjust the carb and broke the float. i can find a primary float but no gaskets and secondary floats. i have found the carb i want at racing beat but i just nned it running for the time being so i can move it between the house and the body shop. any and all help is appreciated.

 

Most well-stocked auto parts stores will carry the rebuild kit, or can order it for you.

Autozone sells a GP Sorenson kit for the Nikki's that goes about $28, usually in stock. Here's a link:

The kit doesn't come with the floats however, only the float needle valves and all the gaskets and hardware, including the accelerator pump. If one of your floats is broken, you can get one off a spare carb if one is available (or pm me your address).

actually the only place in this state that is pulling up a rebuild kit is Orielly's and we cant order it from this store so we have to have a store in fort smith call and get it from oklahoma. i live in arkansas btw. no one has or can get the secondary float and only advance auto parts can get the primary float. but i am am gonna look at this link above. thanks for the help guys. i will put some pics up soon. its a 100$ car but it was perfect till the guy before me jacked it up. he lost the hood, broke the passenger side window and other stuff. but for a bill and running before he broke the float i think i came out ahead. I love the rotory motors. I plan on getting an 8 for a daily.
