carb vac lines help!!

OK 82 rx7, now if you are looking at the carb, and the fuel lines are facing you, look down and left.there is a vac line port next to the fuel pressure reg ,
NOW since I have no vac lines I tried to plug this port but when I did it released a shitload of gas in to the carb and filled everything UP.
now I pulled the vac line plug off and the carbs doing good and not letting air threw when I blow in it.(it did not even stop before "air")
NOW where DO I need to hook up this vac port up to keep it working?
now remember I have now vac lines,
can I hook it up to the bottom of the carb plat to draw vaccum for this ?
Or hook it direct to the manifold ?
I dont know how much it need to work right ?

HELP !!!!!!!

Ifd you talking about the larger vacuum line on the side of the carb. It kinda makes a 90 degree bend downwards?

If thats the one you leave it alone, dont plug it...

And thats not a FPR, its a vent solenoid, suppose to keep fuel from evaporating out into the open air LOL Which now we dont care with no emissions LOL
