I hope you tell them its NOT just a Nikki carb. Tell them its a Mazda Rx-7 from '84. THATS what they are looking for.

There are 2 carbs for the RX-7's. The Hitachi made Nikki design and the Nikki made Nikki design. Look on the carb, it will say NIKKI on it. The kit I ordered had all the gaskets and seals for all year RX7. You just used the one that matched up. You can also order those parts individually at Mazdatrix I believe.

yeah, I told them its for a 84 RX-7 but all the places want a part # (Napa said the part # should start with N and gave me an example such as N249-13200E)

I didn't have to give a part number when I bought one. I just said I had an 85 RX-7 with a 12A, and they gave me a Beck-Arnley carb kit. It was like 20 bucks if I remeber correctly.

If you can find a company that sells standard/ hygrade, the part# is 1401 and costs around $20.00.
