If you do it yourself, it will cost like $20-$50 for the kit plus some carb cleaner.

If you have someone else do it, it varies, but I would say $200-$300.

I say do it yourself. Don't rush things. Reduce distractions. Lay everything out on a white flat surface. Grab a good quality flat tip and philips screwdrivers (#2 size). Needle nose pliers. 14mm wrench for the long center bolt on top. 12mm wrench for the jet cover bolt plugs on the side of each float bowl. Glasses, if you need them; there are a few small parts under the accel pump squirter nozzle. Take some pictures or draw a diagram. Take notes. Label things.

If you can follow written directions, and take your time and work carefully, you can do it yourself.

Thanks, It just scared the crap out of my husband when he pulled it out. Can you recommend a good cleaner to soak and clean it with?
