Carb question

So I’ve been doing research and I’m interested to see what the Weber is all about, have a couple of buddy’s who have them on their sevens and they seem to respond and run quite nice. Eye have a simple question that eye don’t think has been answered yet as I’ve searched through the forums to no avail. I’m under the impression that the Weber 48 IDF has a different bolt pattern than the IDA, is that so? When eye say different eye know the IDA is larger than the IDF but would the IDF mount up the same, I’ve read that they are different. If that’s the case how have people gone about mounting the IDF givin that only manifolds for the IDA are readily available? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Also do the IDF and IDA use the same jets and what not? I’m sure they’re different size from the factory but eye mean would eye have any issues ordering jets and emulsion tubes for the IDA and mounting them on the IDF?
