carb help

I have searched and cant find a pic of where the idle limit screw is on a stock nikki carb any one know where a pic is?

What year? SA Niki's have it in a different place than FB Nikki's (if I remember right)

Lemme look for a pic. In the meantime it's on the 'driver's side' of the carb, it looks like a big phillips screw (it's the easy one to get to)

The idle adjust screw on an 85 is on the driverside just infront of the linkages where the accel, cruise, choke cables attach, which is toward the rear of the carb..

The screw closer to the front of the carb. and easier to get to is the mixture adjust screw.

Its weird i cant see a vacume leak. so would my timing be causing this or my carb idle?

allso when i start it after it dies it will jump up to 2k-4500rmps for a sec then drop back down and start to die untill i give it gas if this helps.

You have a massive vacuum leak. Mine was doing the same thing when I took the rat's nest off. . . the wrong way (by just removing ALL the hoses and solenoids)

Guess i will have to do the wd-40 test since i cant see any thing visible =( or time to strip the rats nest.
