Car wont stay charged ive tried searching with not much luck
My problem is my car wont stay running for more than 3 days. I took the alternator and battery to get tested to see if i need to replace them. Both were in fine working order.
I wil charge my battery for a few hours toss it in the car and if its warm outside, it will start up after about 10 minutes, followed by alot of smoke. Afyter awhile this goes away and the car will start up every time until the next day or so. When i go to start it it will try to start then make a clicking noise or it will just make a single click and nothing will work.
Ive replaced the battery cables and diconnected my radio, i still cant figure out why my car will not stay running.
The plugs and wires are also new, all the fuses are fine.
where else should i look???

With a charged battery, unhook the neg batt cable and use either a DMM or test light to complete the circuit. With the key out of the ignition you should be getting a tiny reading on the DMM. If the reading is high or the test light is on, remove the fuses one by one. When the light goes out, trace down the circuit on that fuse.
