battery is good
battery cables are good

i checked for spark and i have spark

and that left me to think my motor is flooded

Then yeah its more than likely flooded. I've heard its fairly common for rotaries to flood or lose compression as they age, making them hard to start

Keep asking around though. I'm not totally sure thats your problem, its just a possibility. I'm not an expert on these cars (yet) by any means. That was just what a mechanic told me.

If she's flooded, don't pump the pedal. Just hold it down to the floor, and no choke. She'll go.

You can also pull the plugs and crank the engine to get the fuel out. Clean off your plugs with a torch and put em back. Should fire right up.
