Im new to the rotary world. On my 79 rx7 what would cause the car to roll over sometimes and not every time i turn the key. It sometimes will work one then nothing happens the starter doesnt move. what could be the problem?

 

starter not connected properly? thats a possibilty. or bad battery connection?

 

Battery, battery cables, starter solenoid, ign wire to starter or ignition switch. That's the general order of troubleshooting.

 

By the way you worded it, I couldn't help but imagine the car physically tumbling over onto its roof when you turn the key (think Family Guy or The Simpsons). Maybe it's cowering away from your driving prowess. All kidding aside, I think the other posts hold the answer. Good luck.
