Ok I think its my carb but my car drives fine untill I get up to like 60 or whatever sometimes and then sputters and sometimes dies or it will slow down and not accellerate makes a sputtering noise, also it seems like it happens alot going up hills sometimes I dont make it up the hill and have to stop, what could it be the cars a 85 GS and it great in and out just has this problem all stock also,,,

I had the same problem once in a pickup. It was water in the gas. First noticed it going up hills, later truck would only go 20 mph on flat roads. It would idle fine, just wouldn't pull. I'll bet you have a fuel delivery problem of some sort.

 

So is it like a flat spot in the throttle?
I had issues where my car would drive just fine untill going up a hill when i would have to downshift to make it. I was running dlidfis and after swapping back to stock ignition i found out one of my coils was going to hell. I would say check your coils and ignitors. Is your fuel filter clean? That could do it too.
