car keeps dying
i dunno if anyone has read my recent thread, but my car all of a sudden died and wouldnt start, i replaced the coils, dizzy, igniters, wires etc... it ran, but poorly
i then swapped different igniters in and it ran decent but still choppy.
i adjusted the timing by ear and it ran for like 30 feet then just shut down and wouldnt restart, im about done with this car and am on the verge of parting it out, can anyone think of what could be causing my problem?

Hahahahahaha! (laughing at the above post!)
I don't know what you want us to say, Greg.
Based on the stuff that you said you've done - have you replaced plugs? If they are heavily fouled, they will not run well, and your ignitors will not be able to send a sharp spike to them. New plugs may make a big difference.
My only other suggestion would be to retime the engine using a light - timing by ear is not a good way to ensure that you're getting correct ignition fire. Get a light and shoot off of the leading plug on the front rotor and get your primary ignition timed correctly. After that, it's just a matter of setting the trailing timing from L2.
Since you replaced ignitors and got it running again, I would think that the engine is getting a good ignition wave, but plugs can kill this.
Have a look and reply back when you get a chance,

Have you replaced the Dist rotor? rx7doctor

Ok, seriously...
The engine spins the dizzy, which makes the pickups recognize the engine is running and trigger the ignitors, which triggers the coils, which goes through the wires to the top of the dizzy where the spark is distributed (imagine that, lol) to the appropriate terminal where it travels through the wire to the correct plug.
Somewhere in that you have a problem.
