Car = Un Tame Able

so me being a junky for being out of control, i took my 1985 GSL out to an open parking lot to see what she could do......the result was nothing but 360's pulls around hard suddenly at the limit

is this a result of the "binding" i hear so much about
i thought they fixed that prob by 1985
it also didnt seem so bad b4 i put on my cp 4 point strut bar would a rear strut bar fix this

i dont know how much a dif strut tower bars make eh so would this work

Remove rear sway bar...
or
soften rear springs a tad to give more

You can remove the rear sway bar. Others will know more about it than me.

No, the problem was never corrected. A rear strut tower bar wont do anything on our cars. Yes your experiencing the dreaded snap oversteer. You want to correct it? Or at least minimize it?

www.pbandjracing.com look in the tech articles section.

Take a look at this. About halfway down.

while heim-jointed lower-links were fabricated to keep it from binding up
Any comment on this approach?

The lower links arent the big problem. Its teh uppers and the watts link. You can use heim joints, but they are very noisy. Doesnt bother me on the racecar, but I personally wouldnt use them on the street. They will also require periodic cleaning/greasing from all the dirt on the road that will get in there. Again not a big deal on a racecar since they get alot of maintenance. Some guys use a piece of rubber (like from an inner tube) to quiet them down, but the maintenance issue still exists.
