The CANT WAIT SYNDROME !

Ok so im sure many ppl have had this cant wait syndrome , atleast i do right now....

You buy that beautiful 1st gen rx7. It sits like a baby waiting to come out of her mother , waiting for life , WAITING FOR THAT 13B TURBO MOTOR !!

First comes the stage where you plan everything , order your goods for the car , know you have to be patient and that your are.

Couple weeks pass UPS stops by to bring atleast 1 item a day , You know the fedex man already. And the postal service just leaves those boxes at your front door.
So now your recieving things and have a smile on your face knowing your making progress . Then you go and sit in that car with no motor , get into your own little world and pretend like your tearing up the streets!!! Shifting into first and second with no clutch at all !! Isnt it great. You sit back , press the little buttons all around you knowing one day they will respond , you pop that hood look sr8 into the ... street. Go upstairs and go to sleep saying soon enough....hahah the syndrome is getting you!!

Next step : You have everything ready !

Sit in the car everytime you walk by it ... knowing that very soon you will be driving it.

Go inside , get on the computer , and type www.rx7club.com (if its not already your homepage) You find a video of directfreak's rx7 playing with an s2000 , and you say...

I CANT WAIT !!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I know that feeling very well. It took me nearly 9 months to get the parts to build the widebody, another 9 to do the work. Now it goes back into the shop this winter for Stage III mods.

My kids are grown and gone and this damn car takes more time and costs more than they ever did. However, being there for thier birth was the treat of my life.
