cant remove front spindle, strut is stuck?

don't forget to add a little bit of light motor oil when you insert the new cartridge

I want to take my spindle off because the bearing is stuck on the shaft even with an acetoline ( if that's how u spell that) an beat it from the backside an nothin but to make a long story short I've got another front suspensin setup comming and I'm going to do the respeed brake swap on this one with new springs n shocks

Donnie I have 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch air guns with lines if you need them. Just let me know, unfortunately I sold my compressor .

First time I had to swap struts. I didn't have an impact wrench. I ended up cutting the nut off with a dremel tool and a carbide bit. Took a long time.

Impact wrench took it off in less than 15 seconds.

With an impact wrench, the wrench turns the nut so quickly, the inertia and friction of the strut shaft doesn't have time to react & rotate.

dd, that isn't his problem. but yes got to admit that the impact wrench is a godsend. it really helps with the job.

Yeah, it's hard to figure from the thread if we're talking about the strut piston top nut, or the cartridge retaining nut... or a bearing seized on the spindle?
