Unhappy Can't find 13" soft compound tires!! HELP!!!

First off, I don't have the money right now to "upgrade" to a larger wheel size... I'm stuck at the stock 13" right now.... But I desperately need new tires!! No one around here seems to have any kind of 13" H-Rated tire, or any other performance/soft compound tire -- even one that they could order. So, for those of you that have 13" tires, and have bought recently, what tires do you suggest? I need something with grip!! My preference is a Dunlop D40 M2, but they do not make those in 13".... anything close to that would be great.

Any suggestions?

Sumitomo HTR200 comes in 13" size. Same with BFG Radial T/A, but I don't know if those will satisfy your grip needs.

I need the best grip available... I take corners pretty hard (just because I can) I don't necessarily take them all that fast (meaning, unsafe speeds) but I love how the car corners and how (good/soft compound) tires DON'T screech/skid/slide going around them.

Kumho Ecsta Supras work well and come in stock sizes.

Bridgestone potenza RE910 are pretty soft, and fairly cheap.

Well, I know that theres always a limit no matter what kind of tires you run but I've found that when running higher grip tires, they tend to not squeal. Now when it comes to the stock 13's, they squeal like a pig in heat.

Hoosier makes slicks in 13", but you probably shouldn't run them on the street.

for street sumitomo htr200 205/60 is the best IMO. Just remember they are 3 season tires, they won't move in snow, period. They kick major *** in rain though.

I'm using BF Goodrich Traction T/A HR because they got such good ratings among TireRack customers. And they seem to be really good in rain. $54 each, and about 4 days delivery time. I like TireRack.

Most DOT-R tires are available in 13" sizes. It is extremely popular!

14" are next to useless as far as performance tires are concerned.

I live my RA-1's
a VERY good street tire. I save alot of wear on my brakes using those tires. no need to slow for turns.
