can you tell wich carb size?

Hi guys, just bought this car for the motor a 13b streetport by Atkins,Holley carb,Racing Beat intake with an adapter between the intake and block. I just got the motor running and it sure sounds more than a sreetport (still don't know how to post videos ) so maybe by finding the carb size will give me an idea of the motor port or if you know other way let me know. Thanks in advance [/URL[/URL

If it really is a atkins rebuild there should be some numbers stamped into the rotor housings email them to dan he will e able to tell you all about the motor.

On the front of the air horn there are numbers for carb. If you look on Holley's site, those numbers will referance the carb info. http://www.holley.com/types/Double%20Pumpers.asp

Forgot to ask if this carb looks like a RB carburator? Or are this Holleys so much alike?

If memory serves, all double-pumpers had the chokes and choke tower removed. I imagine you'll find a 650 or 465-cfm Holley 4160 when it's all said and done.

Okay do us all a favor...no that is not a racingbeat holley carb...That carb is a double pumper carb anywhere inbetween 650-750...to put this issue to rest on the back side of the carb facing the driver side fender there is a list of serial numbers...post those number up here on the thread...and any one of us can look that number up on jegs, summit, or ebay...easy fix...

Teddy. I already found out that the carb is a 650 http://www.holley.com/0-4777C.asp .... now I'd like to know what motor I got .I called Atkins today and they said the #s are from 1999 and that they only keep records of 3 years. The previus owner told me that it was a 13B 6 port streetport but to me the way it sounds it could be more than a sreetport....now I need to figure out how to post a video

So, why not just freaking look? 4 bolts, 2 screws, 2 freeze plugs and some antifreeze will get you a good look at your intake ports. Slip a dental mirror into one and you can learn quite a bit. Have a look.

post the video on like image shack or photobucket.

just take it with a digital still camera. should do the trick. You say it "sounds like more than a SP".

How, like idle, or full out or what?
