Can a Nikki bolt onto a 4port intake?

I need to know if a Nikki carb would bolt onto an early 4port 13B intake.

Thanks, Ed

i have an early 13b intake manifold and it has a spacer that is also an adapter for the holley thats on it. the spacer/adapter was CNC machined from a block of aluminum. i got this when i bought my car, if youre interested in it. id let it all go for cheap.

You have to tap/install new stud since the 12-A carb is smaller.

You're planning to go turbo with this carb yes?

I would think you'd want to run something bigger on a boosted 13B than a Nikki...modded or not. IMOP the cost issue wouldn't be worth having a strangely fitting (and probably flowing) carb/manifold setup.

Does rotaryshack recomend that carb for a boosted 13B?

yes you can retap it, but no it does not bolt right up.

^^ a weber would be a lot better for a boosted 13b for sure.

Guys, thanks for the replies! Yes this is for a boosted application. I already have a boost prepped weber 48 that I plan on using but was just playing around with the idea. Kind of expanding my options since I having a bitch of a time trying to find a 1piece wrap around intake for my 4port.

Thanks, Ed

just get a 2 piece style intake, that way if you ever go back to 12a or a 6 port all you will need is a new lower and some jets.

Keep in mind that this carb has been sitting for many years. It was in my 13-B streetport which is no match to my IDA. This is a 76 intake manifold with reversed runners.

i have an rx7 nikki on a rx4 manifold, all you need to do is drill and tap new stud holes, took me about 20 minutes.
