Most guys I know including me are running one MSD 6A box to fire the leading plugs. Dont say it wont work if it clearly does.

Second gen coil mounts very nicely on the left side strut tower. Still have my AC and original length plug wires. If you want to make a big improvement, why not just go with the 2GCDFIS w/TT mod? Made a huge difference on my TII upgrades. And if I'm not mistaken, the MSD rev limiter you are looking at will work with the stock ignition. But you will need 2.

hes referring to the 6al box used as a rev limiter only on the leading. bad idea.

bad 83---ill have to look more today to see if i can find room. i had one of the TT from the last batch. i sold it due to the fact it fries the ignitor on the 2nd gen coil. yes its a good economical mod, exactly what im looking for, but i dont want to have to keep replacing ignitors and getting stranded.

I have never fryed my igniter on the second gen coil. I have had this setep for almost a year. Kent (GSL-LE ADDICT) suggested using 4 10 amp 10 ohm resistors wired parallel to give the power feeding the ignitor 2.5 ohms of resistance. That really cut the heat soak down on the coil. That heat soak is what kills the second gen ignitors. Look real close at the pic I posted. You can see the room I have putting the second gen coil on the left strut tower with the AC still there, and a strut tower brace.
