Can I Put Rack and Pinion Steering in my 83 Rx7.
And Can i use another cars steering like a coralla or somthing

 

theres the CP racing rack and pinion kit, btu seeing as you are from down under, There is no right hand drive solution yet. Your probably on your own on this one

 

Yes, but why?

Common answer is to have more precise steering, but that isn't the case. if you search you'll find quite a few threads already talking about the conversion and how it ended up just like the stock steering except with more of the road felt through the wheel.

I too thought about it, and from what I've heard I don't think it is really worth the time, IMO.

 

What threads? I've seen where it's been a pain to install, but no complaints on steering other than the first version that had binding and ratio issues. Please links the threads you're referring to.

There's the first one to really come to mind. I forget what keywords I used a few months back to research it.

I do want to try the FC Subframe swap though. I have access to the parts, I just don't have the fabbing knowledge to carry out such a feat.
