Can I pour MMO into my carb?

...or should I put it in my gas instead? What's the better way to do it? or should I dumb it into my oil fill cap? I'm gonna use the MMO tonight, so if someone has done this, please help. Thanks.

I know you're a college student, but..
"Can I pour MMO into my carb?" Wouldn't "Should I pour..." have been more to the point ?
You CAN pour any liquid you want ( and many solids if the proper particle size ) into your carb, but I wouldn't advise it.

To answer your question, it would help to knw if you're trying to clean your **** or pre-mix. What are your intentions or objective ?

For carbon removal, I'd go for water misting.
For pre-mixing, I'd go for 2-cycle oil.
For engine oil additive, I'd go for MMO.

To clean my ****. Like you mentioned above. Sorry for asking such a half-assed question. Or rather a half assed typed question. But anyway...i need to clean it, and I was wondering what's the most effective way of doing this. Thanks David

MMO=Marvel Mystery Oil

You premix if you take off or dont know if your metering oil pump is working. Do a search for "premix" here in the 1st gen section. Like cdrad said, its been covered alot of times.

If you guys don't know much about MMO, or what it is used for, or what the benefits are, I would highly suggest reading my writeup in the archive before taking any further action. I FIRMLY believe that MMO is not safe to use as a substitute for two-cycle oils. Again, this is an opinion, but if you would like to find out much, much, more about MMO please read the link below.

In theory, many believe MMO can be used as a replacement for your oil metering pump in several different ways. I think MMO is meant to be used as an additive, not a lubricant. In which case I plan on using a good two cycle premix, with some MMO added in from now on. Just read the writeup below. It should answer nearly all of your questions.
