Can the holly/webber carb handle boost
I currently have a 12 a with a drawthrough turbo system and its not the best off systems. I want to run a blow through system and switch intake manifolds and carbs. Can either the Webber or Holly handle boost or do they have to be modified. If they do have to be modified where can it be done and about how much does it cost? I plan on running a carb hat with an intercooler. Please let me know if you know of any links or have any info.
Thanks

I don't know about the holley but a weber should be able to handle around 7 or so PSI on a smaller turbo with no problems. Anything really above that and I reccomend getting it boost prepped.

Rotary shack all the way. what type of carb is on it now??? maybe the carb you have can be modded by Robert at the Rotary Shack also. Just E-mail him.
PICS would be nice of the draw thru being we all don't get to see them all the time. running low boost on the draw thru would be a really good setup though. 10lbs and lower and you really don't need a intercooler. the blow thru is more work also.

OK awsome i will call rotary shack soon. I can take some pics of the setup for you as soon as my sister gets home with the camera. The draw through system is great but two problems ive noticed is
1 Once the turbo gets hot your air and fuel mixture gets so hot you tend to detonate.
2 The stock carb cant handle the hard turns and acellerating through corners cause it either starves for fuel or floods. Im not really sure which one. I have broken down so many times cause of that it sucks. Plus i was looking at getting a new carb anyways.
Ok well thanks guys.
I will send the pics ASAP if you are seriouse in buying.

Weber IDA, or Mikunis. I forget what it is about Mikunis, but they're already boost prepped, its just how theyre built. But Robert at rotaryshack is all about the weber, so he might be able to make you more power on a weber than the mikuni. If you send him your carb, hell build you a hat for it. He specializes in blowthough turbo setups, and he knows what hes doing. Send him your carb, and maybe your dizzy if you dont know how to lock it, and youll be happy with the work and the prices, Im sure.
