Question came across this in the 1st gen parts section

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=338510
i was readin through an he said somethin bout 12a 6port, now i've been doin research on rotay's for a lil more than 3 yrs now an i've never heard of a 12a 6port before let alone a non turbo jdm 12a, correct me if im wrong but the 12a's in japan were turbo wheather in the 1st gen or the other mazda they put it in (i forgot the name at the moment) looking for a lil more insite on this 12a 6port and if it really exists, also if there was a such thing as a 'jdm non turbo 12a'

from what i have seen, it's not worth it. the ports are way too tiny. isn't capable of much power at all.

It was in the FB in Japan. From what I hear, the 6 port engine pulled pretty well at all RPMs.

I was wandering through a junkyard here awhile back and noticed an FB with some nice BBS wheels. Under the hood it had a black breather box, that said 6 port induction. Sure enough it had the actuators on the manifold. Pretty cool. No idea where it came from or how it ended up there. Always meant to go back and atleast get that manifold. Did buy the wheels off of it though...

You'd think with all that research you would have learnt to spell "rotary" correctly.

There's some info about the six-port 12A about halfway down on this page, lots of info on the various engines too.
