For that price you could build a nice turbo setup that has minimal spool lag.

My point exactly. Atkins sells great quality products, but all the anticipation of always wanting the Camden, then getting it finally, I didn't like it. I liked the positives...the low end power, the blower whine, the looks...but it was a constant hassle for keeping everything cool. I seriously doubt the cooling would be an issue if you were located in a cooler climate.

Build your own setup using a twin-screw, and you'd be a lot better off, probably for a lot less ontop of that.

ok..why would i want low end torque from a rotary....when buying one you know the power is at high rpm...many of my freinds turbo set up is very succesful...and doesnt a suprcharger take power from the motor..i rather use my exhaust to make power..sound a little more logical to me..someone enlighten me on the subject.

Maybe not everyone likes to have to rev to 6000 rpm or higher just to get out of the way?

Power below an obnoxious noise level can be quite nice, you know?

Well, obnoxious people typically think that other obnoxious things aren't really obnoxious.

Maybe this might help you. Mod a 86 clutched fan in your car, use a e-fan, and if you have a header wrap it. Also for extra protection mod a heat shield under the blower, and you should be ok if you have a carb'd setup.

As for Camden and EFI/ECU and keeping things cool, Im working on that now. I think I may have it figured out. If so I will post if it works.

Deena, is that you? It's been awhile since you & I spoke. Glad to see you are still around. I have been away from the forum for a bit. As far as the cooling, all of my cooling system was new when I had the Camden, including dual efans. I miss the novelty of having the Camden because no one in these parts even has one that I know of, but I don't miss the Camden either. Your car is still looking great!
