OK heres the thing, i just purchased a 1980 completely restored supercharged FB with:
7 Camden Supercharger
Holley Carburetor
Holley Fuel Pump
Racing Beat Clutch & Lightweight Flywheel
ACT HD Pressure Plate
Banzai Racing Custom Fuel Kit
Custom Air Intake
Flex-a-Lite E-Fans
Carb Bonnet
MSD Ignition Coils
Banzai Racing Polyurethane Motor Mounts
4.444 Ring & Pinion Gears
PLX Wideband
FD chairs
I wanted to know what kind of power can i expect out of this and what can i add to increas power.
Things that ive noticed, its like 85% tuned, its running to rich and it idles at 2000rpms.
This Fb was put together at banzai rotary indiana.

Beautiful package! I hope you are premixing! First, you need to ditch that air filter, too restrictive. Next, get a wideband to dial the carb in. Determine what porting the engine has, exhaust setup, ignition, pulley #, amount of boost, etc etc. Unless it's a bridgeport it should idle under 1000. My 1/2 bridge could idle at 1200. Max, and I mean "MAX" hp you will see will be about 170rwhp ( I know, disappointing, a turbo provides sooo much more), it will make for an awesome daily driver compared to turbo though.

I have to pick up the car tommorow, but i already know that the air filter was already changed, the engine is not ported, the exhaust system and header are full racing beat, 7 boost, it has a wideband but its not actually programed and ill be taking actual pictures tommorow with the new updates.

I did find the 2000rpm idling strange but the actual owner told me he couldnt get it to 1000rpm

What's going on with the air intake setup there? It looks like a cai setup that mixed with a plain old round air filter. Am I seeing that right? That's ridiculous.

I'm swapping from 5" to a 7" today. It came with a holley but I also have a spare Edelbrock performer series 600 so I'll use that.

the pulleys all around are for a 10 rib... something went wrong with the pulley and the belt itself got rip ( the 10 rib) so, they order a new pulley for it and now i cant find myself a 10 rib. using a 6 rib at this time, but it makes this *Squeaks* noise i can't describe it only does it when i push it hard at first start up. but after a while of driving the car, it doesn't do it anymore.. what gives? cheap belt maybe?

what is wrong running on OMP?

You say its built by banzai rotary

Those guys are top notch I doubt they let it roll out of their shop 85% tuned or with a 2k idle, those are Previous Owners mess ups.

Just disconnect the throttle cable and adjust the cable, then you'll know if it's the cable....

Im not saying nothing bad about them, im just saying it was done at Banzai.
The car was shipped here from Indiana and a year later the original owner couldnt figure out what was wrong with the carburator so he sold it, now the person who i bought it from fixed her up pretty good and got it to a 85% .
The 2000 RPM thing i know is a vacumm leak cause i already check the throthle cable and it wasnt that so ill be checking that today.
