camden dyno pull
I am not a fan of Petit, and I am very confident that those numbers are greatly exagerrated. I'd be suprised if its putting out an honest 260 to the wheels.
Cam (from Petit) is a great salesman.

Let me correct myself, the highest hp old school carb'd roots supercharged rx7 on the road.
Certainly a twinscrew, lysholm, or rotrex along with a great standalone and intercooler will bring more power, but compare apples to apples.

Right, so I'm curious how you made as much power as you did with the parts you used, and what those parts were.
I know of some of your setup, things like a full RB streetport exhaust, 7" Camden, a Holley or Edelbrock carb, an FC engine but not sure on ports or rotating assembly, but what seals, fuel pump, timing, ignition (or wait it was MSD waste spark)?
Please give us a list of your specs. Then I can give credit where it is due.

You are correct. That is an early picture of his setup.
He recently purchased a complete RB dual pipe exhaust system and really likes it. I plan to build something very similar for my REPU to mimic the sound quality and power potential of the dual pipe system.
If he can make 225, his results should be reproduceable with similar parts under similar conditions, wouldn't you think? That's why I keep asking for his tech specs.

S4 TII rotors, rx7 specialties 3mm apex seals, streetport intake and exhaust, roadrace exhaust, #9 pulley producing 12+ lbs of boost, water methanol injection, stock GSLSE spec timing, modified advance curve, holley 700 double pumper, 4.88 gears, gslse 5 speed tranny.
I like your primary port. I like how it goes down, which for FC is rare to see. What plates did you use? I see you have some FD rotor housings there. Nice.
Did you follow your own advice and not increase overlap on this motor? I'd like to know your opening and closing timing in degrees or what templates you used.

No specific measurements on opening, etc. Nice big streetport on intake yet the exhaust does no close too late. Idle has no lope (although the camden takes away a lot of that anyway) and idles smooth at 1000. Secondary plates similar to primary, just no pics. TII s4 plates, new s6 housings. I would like to follow your post.
I will be getting a low mileage s5 n/a fc with a popped engine in feb. Need a lot of polishing and a motor swap (I have a spare s5 n/a in my garage). I will post my proceedings on this.

Figured you had a thread going on somewhere with this info
I'm hoping to hit somewhere near those power levels with about 6 psi of boost or so on my rotrex setup. I'd like to get closer to 300 with 12psi. This should be even harder for me as I'm running with my 12a ... but that thing NA right now is close to 170whp and about 135ft-lb, running pretty darn strong for just a street port 12a.
